| Toybox Aura/Mirage Plug-in (from LightWorx) $75.00
"Your very own CG Tools collection... The Toybox is an entire suite of CG and Image Processing tools, along with other utilities designed to make you look like an Aura wizard. CG is child's play with the ToyBox! The logo at the top of this page was created in just seconds with a few mouse clicks! The ToyBox puts the tools in your hand, so even without in-depth knowledge your CG work will look great! Too, the ToyBox offers numerous utilities for the pro -- like the blistering "FX Strobe," the instant 3:2 pull-down of the "FX Telecine" function, or the handy "Numeric" input group. The "Styles" group provides some gorgeous and speedy text and CG treatments, while the "CG" function group offers an amazingly broad range of versatile effects. "What's new in this version?" There are dozens of new tools, and they are faster, better looking, far more powerful! Texture mapping and variable angle/depth extrusion power up the CG Tools. Complete inline Help is a click away, but can be toggled Off for speed. Animate-able filters like "FX Rack-it" add excitement to even the most mundane subject material (such as scanned photos!) Even using the coordinates panel, it's just not likely that an artist can place a circle, line or whatever at an exact location or angle (i.e. doing a complex digital HUD) "They're also good for evenly spaced things that have to be precise." The "Numeric" tools allow precision input for drawing tools, providing accuracy and repeatability. At right, three concentric circles created with the "Numeric Circle" tool have been 'polished up' with a couple of clicks in "FX BevelExtrude."
Did we mention how fast it is? (Can you say "Ka-ching?")
